The Team Competition:  Compete as a 3-person team for Prizes and Bragging Rights.  Represent your group, issue challenges, make wagers, brag and taunt.  It’s all in fun.

Team’s compete based on score.  Your team score is the total of the finish places of your 3 runners.  Low score wins.

For example, if your runners cross the line in 9th, 22nd, and 35th, your team score is 66.  If your rivals finish 1st, 5th, and 61st, they total 67 points, and you beat ‘em!  It’s simple and fun.

The Categories:  Each has Male, Female, and Mixed-Gender Divisions

> Family Fun:  3 runners from the same family

> Social Squad:  3 friends

> Food & Beverage:  3 from same Restaurant or Bar - The Running of the Bars

> Hospitality:  Tourism, Hotels, etc.

> Health & Fitness Industry:  3 from same Health-related group or organization

> Protect & Serve:  Military, Law Enforcement, First Responders

The After Party:

The race clock shuts off at 7:20.  If you’re not in by then, oh well, you officially become a pedestrian. Get yo’ self onto the sidewalk ‘fore you get run ovah.

So, once you catch your breath, jog on over to Smokin’ Tuna Saloon (4 Charles Street), where we’ll have some food, some beverages, and another of our famous raffles.  You can win stuff that you absolutely cannot get anywhere else!

With chip timing this year, we should have no trouble getting you all back out to Duval to watch The Longest Parade in all its splendor and frivolity.
